Q&A.

Why are you passionate about accounting?
I get to be intimately involved in assisting people with their financial needs which often results in fulfilling many dreams such as getting the new car, the new home or financial security.

Why do you like working at MGO?
We’re creating a culture of togetherness, pulling the ship in the same direction…building something special. We teach, we learn, we challenge and we support.

Describe a favorite client or client story.
A client who engaged our services a few years ago had a FICO of 450 and couldn’t even get a credit card. They had collection issues, back tax issues…their financial life was a mess. I’ve been proud to be integral in straightening this mess out.

What qualities do you look for in job applicants?
Ambition, intelligence and honesty.

Who are you outside the office?
A husband, father, son and friend. I love sports both as a spectator and participating. I’m a voracious reader of novels both fiction and non-fiction and a big fan of James Patterson and Nelson Demille. I go to the movies 30 – 40 times per year. I have a daughter Lexie with whom I spend as much time as I can; playing, teaching and just watching her grow and learn. It’s truly awesome and I cherish our relationship. Finally, I try to give back to my community in charitable ways.

Who has been the most influential person in your career?
My Mom, she had a knack for business but more importantly she cared about people.
