When collaborating with my clients, I leverage more than 15 years of tax controversy experience, my ability to research complex tax matters and draft technical memos to support your tax positions, and my status on the IRS Tax Advocacy Panel to help you receive the best possible result.
My focus areas include, but are not limited to U.S. federal, state, and local tax audits; sales and use/payroll tax audits; international tax compliance related audits, including FBARs and 5471s; negotiation and settlements with tax authorities; and correspondence and negotiation with tax authorities.
Prior to joining MGO, I was a partner with Schwartz & Company, LLP. I began my career at a Big Four firm and spent six years in public accounting before venturing into the private industry as AVP of a mortgage real estate investment trust with a taxable REIT subsidiary.
