Dana Borys, CPA


Dana is an experienced tax partner who provides US federal and state tax compliance services for publicly-held and privately-owned corporations. She has in-depth knowledge of US tax codes and is proficient in identifying and executing corporate tax strategies that provide maximum benefit to her clientele.

Prior to joining MGO, Dana was a Corporate Tax Director providing services to clients in a wide variety of industries. Her areas of expertise have included: reviewing annual and quarterly ASC 740 calculations, including the preparation and review of documentation of uncertain tax positions; and managing international, multi-state, and business combination issues. She is a proactive advisor helping clients benefit from federal and state incentives, including DPAD, R&D Credits, Cost Segregation Studies, and Enterprise Zone Credits and Incentives.

Dana has deep experience reviewing and managing the federal, state, and local preparation of tax compliance and filings for C- and S-corporations, individuals, partnerships, non-profit foundations, and fiduciaries. In this capacity, she has researched and advised on state and local income/franchise tax, sales/use tax, and property tax filing compliance, and apportionment/allocation methods for various industries and revenue streams.
