Anthony "Tony" Smalls III

PARTNER AND LEADER OF ENTERTAINMENT, SPORTS, AND MEDIA PRACTICE

SUMMARY
Tony is a partner and the leader of MGO’s Entertainment, Sports, and Media (ESM) practice. He has more than 25 years of business management and tax experience serving culture-defining entertainers, top athletes, and other high-net-worth individuals.

He began his professional accounting career in the Atlanta office of a Big Four accounting firm as an auditor and senior consultant in the management solutions & services practice. His experience includes accounting, finance, tax strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and contract/deal negotiations.

Since 2000, Tony has gained extensive experience serving as business manager, chief financial officer, and chief executive officer roles for startups, Fortune 100 companies, and high-net-worth individuals in the sports and entertainment industries.

Prior to joining MGO, Tony was a partner and chief operating officer of the business management and tax firm, Superior Business Management, Inc. His experience and capabilities include accounting, finance, tax strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and contract/deal negotiations. He has also worked with due diligence teams on prospective investments including television productions and live music tours.
