Kenneth Macias Elected CHCC Chair
KENNETH MACIAS ELECTED CHCC CHAIR
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 5, 2007) -- Kenneth A. Macias, founder of Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP, a leading California certified public accounting and management consulting firm, was elected as the Chair to the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) in an election that took place at the annual convention and election of officers of the Board of Directors in Long Beach. He was elected by delegates statewide representing the CHCC.
As Chair of the Board of Directors, Macias will work to streamline CHCC operations, build strategic relationships that benefit HIspanic owned businesses and keep local chambers engaged with the CHCC. "It is time that Hispanic businesses seize the abundance of opportunities now available," said Macias. "It is also time our legislative agenda is taken more seriously."
