MGO Professionals Join International CGMA Group
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 26, 2012) – CPAs Kenneth Macias, Kevin O’Connell and Aimee Sanatkar of Macias Gini & O’Connell LLP (MGO) have added the prestigious Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation to their credentials. The CGMA designation recognizes the expertise of management accountants and the value they offer to organizations through both financial expertise and business acumen.
The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) have formed a joint venture to create a global footprint for the CGMA because it showcases a broad skill set, complements the CPA designation and signifies dedication and commitment to management accounting.
Through the AICPA and CIMA, professionals gain the CGMA credential through a combination of examination and experience which is equivalent to a master's degree.
