Caroline Walsh Named To GAQC Executive Committee
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 19, 2011) – Caroline Walsh, Partner at Macias Gini & O’Connell LLP (MGO), was appointed to the Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC) Executive Committee for the 2011-2012 service year that will begin in October. She is one of 14 professionals nationwide who were asked to be on the committee.
“This is yet another example of Caroline’s leadership of and commitment to our profession, which we’ll proudly add to her long list of accomplishments,” said Kevin O’Connell, MGO Managing Partner.
The Governmental Audit Quality Center Executive Committee establishes general policies of the Center and oversees its activities. It also establishes the Center's membership requirements, subject to approval of the AICPA Board of Directors. Members of the Executive Committee are appointed by the chairman of the AICPA Board of Directors with the approval of the Board and subject to the concurrence of the Executive Committee.
